Room Reservations

Scheduling and Use

The AHC Learning Commons has two large group spaces and three work areas that are available, free of charge, for Academic Health Center faculty and staff development as well as student seminars/workshops outside an academic unit's standard scheduled curriculum. After reading through the following room descriptions, please review our Room Use Policy and submit the Room Request Form.

About the Rooms

Dell laptops and iMacs in room 535Room 535 is a large group area that seats approximately 35 people. The tables in the room are configurable to whatever style is needed to accommodate each event. We have 20 laptop computers and 20 iMac computers available for use in this room. This room also includes a projector and presenter laptop. It is a suitable choice for computer-based training sessions.

Tables and chairs in room 545Room 545 is a large private room that seats approximately 20 people. The room includes a projector with a presenter laptop. The room is equipped with a videoconferencing system for meetings, presentations, or small group sessions.

A small work areaThe AHC Learning Commons also contains three separate small group work areas. Each work area can accommodate 4-6 people with laptops. This is a good option for small groups (2-8) who need access to computers for development training or a space to collaborate.
