The Academic Health Center (AHC) Learning Commons Group collaborates with health sciences faculty and academic units to develop innovative, interactive, and engaging online and hybrid learning programs. In our work, faculty are the content experts. We provide expertise in learning design and innovative Web 2.0 and 3.0 technologies.

Explore our portfolio of the educational courseware that your AHC colleagues have developed in partnership with our team of instructional designers, Web developers, video and Web conferencing experts, and graphic designers.
Ask us your questions and share your ideas about transformations you would like to make to your curricula. We are happy to consult about UMN Learning Platform tools, the integrated system of technologies that students use to learn, faculty use to teach, and the University uses to administer academic programs.
Inquire about and practice using educational technologies in the AHC Learning Commons at 535 Diehl Hall - free of charge. As you more clearly define specific courses or Web sites that you would like to develop, the AHC Learning Commons Group will meet with you to discuss your plans, respond with a proposal, and outline services that can be provided on a fee-based project basis.
